Golf R buyback maybe. VW only buys back cars in the US though, which I think is.. wasteful.

Not only is the US situation shamefully wasteful, if VW were to buy back cars in Europe it would bankrupt them instantly. They sold far more cars here than in the US, where they’re merely a niche manufacturer.

It will never go that far here I believe. So many jobs are linked directly and inderctly to VW and the German state of Lower Saxony is a shareholder to VW. I’m not even sure if claims like in the US are possible in the EU.
